Hi! First of all, thank you for landing on my website! My name is Iona and recently I have started to paint. I have always loved food, dinner parties, restaurants and cooking.

In 2024 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, had 8 rounds of chemo and suddenly had a lot of free time on my hands. After trying many hobbies including knitting and sewing (needlework is not for me), I landed on painting, and started selling my paintings for charity. I love working with acrylic, because if a mistake is made (inevitable), you just have to wait for it to dry and then paint over it. Then you can start again! I love using bright colours in my paintings to bring out the joy of food.
